I act like their words don't hurt,
Because I know they don't mean them to.My act fools everyone,
Sometimes even myself.
I smile, and laugh, and act carefree
But deep in the night,
Alone in my bed,
Depressing come, tearing at my heart, eating e alive.
I cry quietly,
So that no one will hear
And carefully wipe away every tear.
I write new songs,
Try to drop them hints
But behind that smile,
I wear everyday
Are hundreds of tears,
That I'm hiding away.
We all have a song
That we call our life
Mine is sweet at first,
But saddens into the night.
